If you have trouble seeing web pages, the US Social Security Administration offers these tips for optimizing your computer and browser to improve your online experience.

There are mouse and keyboard alternatives, such as speech recognition software.  One example is Dragon Speech Recognition Software this may help you navigate web pages and other online services.  A speech recognition program that allows the user to speak into a microphone on a computer with the software translating the spoken words into text in a text program.

If you are deaf or hard of hearing, there are multiple accessibility features available to you.

Closed Captioning

Closed captioning and subtitling are both processes of displaying text on a television, video screen, or other visual display to provide additional or interpretive information.

Volume Controls

Every computer, tablet or mobile device has volume control features.  Every video and audio service has its own additional volume controls.  Try adjusting both your device’s volume controls and your media player’s volume controls to enhance your listening experience.
